Strandja Nature Park Directorate


Strandja Nature Park Directorate is the public body responsible for the management of the beautiful Strandja area.

The Park Directorate's headquarters are in Malko Turnovo in Strandja. From there 14 experts work in fields such as ecotourism, biodiversity, education and public relations.

Ecotourism development

Strandja Park directorate organises several educational and cultural events throughout the year, including the Strandja Rhododendron Festival.

They actively support the development of eco-tourism in Strandja. For example, they establish and maintain eco-trails, resting places and information boards for tourists.They also publish leaflets and booklets on Strandja's wildlife.
